Payment Protection Plan (PPP)

The AWFA Payment Protection Plan (PPP) is an optional service designed to safeguard members against the risk of unpaid invoices within the network.
In the rare event that a member fails to settle an approved invoice, the PPP releases funds to compensate the affected party for the uncollected amount.
This added layer of protection enables members to collaborate with confidence, strengthen commercial relationships, and conduct cross-member business with complete peace of mind.
Participation in the Payment Protection Plan is optional and available for an annual fee of USD 500.

The Payment Protection Plan is an optional AWFA service designed to protect members against unpaid invoices arising from transactions with other AWFA members. In the unlikely event that a valid invoice remains unpaid, the PPP compensates the affected member for the covered amount.

Participation is optional and available to all eligible AWFA members. Members must enroll in the plan and pay the annual fee in order to benefit from its protection.

The PPP covers:
  • Unpaid invoices issued to other AWFA members
  • Transactions conducted within the AWFA network
  • Invoices that comply with AWFA operational, financial, and documentation requirements
  • Approved and undisputed charges related to agreed services

The PPP does not cover:
  • Transactions with non-AWFA members
  • Disputed invoices or charges under commercial or operational dispute
  • Invoices that do not follow AWFA rules, timelines, or documentation standards
  • Losses arising from fraud, misrepresentation, or policy violations
  • Indirect losses, penalties, or consequential damages

If an invoice remains unpaid beyond the agreed payment period, the affected member may submit a claim through AWFA’s official process. Once reviewed and approved, compensation will be released according to the PPP terms.

The PPP provides members with greater financial security, reduces exposure to payment risk, and enables confident cooperation across the AWFA network—allowing members to focus on growing their business.
